WET Advisory Committee

Resize page text:

The Workforce Education and Training Committee was created to provide recommendations, track the County’s workforce implementation and outcome goals, ensure compliance with WET protocols and monitor trends which may require adjustment given the “real time” needs of the system’s workforce. Committee members are nominated by the Director of Mental Health and serve for a minimum of one year. They represent a cross section of our diverse community which include county programs, community-based organizations, peer/family member/parent advocates/parent partners, labor unions, universities, community colleges, and co-occurring disorders experts. Committee Meeting agendas, approved minutes and handouts are available for review.

Please Note: All meetings are open to the public, but voting is restricted to committee members. If you are interested in attending a meeting, contact Angelita Diaz-Akahori, Psy.D. Workforce Education and Training Coordinator at (213) 251-6879 or by email at adiaz@dmh.lacounty.gov.
