Service Area Leadership Team 1 (SALT 1)

Service Area 1 – (Supervisorial District 5) and LACDMH, invite you to join them in a hybrid format every third Thursday of the month from 3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. for the Service Area Leadership Team Meeting 1 (SALT 1). Hosted by Co-Chair Milcha White, Robert Perez, and facilitated by Natalie Williams, SALT 1 is intended to bring together community members and local providers in effort to nourish the following key points.

Vision:  A community driven process that engages a large, multicultural, and diverse community towards a shared goal of hope, recovery, and wellbeing. 

Mission: To identify stakeholder priorities that will provide feedback to guide the Department of Mental Health in the development of its action plan in a process that generates input on mental health policy, program planning, and implementation, monitoring, quality improvement, evaluation, and budget allocations. 

Values: Respect: We recognize the uniqueness of every individual and treat all people in a way that affirms their personal worth and dignity. 
Collaboration: We work together towards common goals by partnering and outreaching with the whole community, sharing knowledge, building strong collaborations, and sharing decision-making.  Dedication: We will do whatever it takes to improve the lives of our consumers
