MOU Between County Departments and Regional Centers

The most recent MOU the Department of Mental Health with the County Probation Department, DCFS and Regional Centers in Los Angeles County was signed in February, 2016.  It contains language that the MOU “shall be automatically renewed for successive fiscal year periods.  Any party may terminate [the] Agreement without cause, provided that written notice is given to all parties at least thirty (30) days in advance.” (Section II. TERMS AND TERMINATION OF AGREEMENT)

The MOU is a 5-page document that refers to Roles and Responsibilities in Appendix A for DCFS, Probation and RCs (executed in 2012), and Appendix B for DMH and RCs (executed on June 30, 1999 and amended on June 16, 2000). (Section IV.  ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)
