API Wellness Summit 2019: “Sharing Our Stories Of Resilience”

The LACDMH Asian Pacific Islander (API) UsCC Subcommittee invites you to attend the API Wellness Summit 2019: “Sharing Our Stories of Resilience.” The Summit will bring together API consumers, family members, community members as well as mental health and allied professionals, to improve awareness regarding mental health issues and their impact on API consumers, families and communities. This Summit will educate and inspire attendees with the personal testimonies of API consumers and family members and their recovery journeys.  Attendees will also gain knowledge about the various API cultures and the impact of cultural influences on mental health.  This will be an opportunity for API community members to connect and learn from each other.

Registration is required. Please complete and submit the Summit Registration form.There will be no on-site registrations/walk-ins.

Registration Fee: The Summit is free for the general public. DMH employees must pay a $25 registration fee. DMH employed Peer advocates, Family Advocates, Promatoras and WOW workers will have their registration fee waived

Information Booths: If you are interested in hosting an information booth at the Summit, please complete and submit the Booth Registration form. If booth volunteers would like to take part in the Summit (presentations, food, etc.), each person must also submit a Summit Registration Form and registration fee (if applicable).
