What is the SA 2 PRC?
The SA 2 PRC is a safe place for all community members and staff to share their experience, access resources, and find commonality in their community as well as support from a team of community health workers with lived experience, a family member of an individual with lived experience, or someone who lives with a mental health condition. The SA 2 PRC brings a sense of family and community which encourages mutual respect based on the idea that we are all individuals with lived experience.
Who is a Peer / Community Member?
A Peer / Community Member can be an individual who has lived experience, a family member of an individual with lived experience, or someone who lives with a mental health condition. A Peer / Community Member is not defined by age, gender, or race, and can be a member of the community, a neighbor, a friend or a family member.
