MHSA Housing Trust Fund

General Information

The Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) Housing Trust Fund (HTF) is part of the Los Angeles County Community Services and Services (CSS) plan that provides funding for supportive services in new permanent supportive housing in Los Angeles County for people with a mental illness, including those with substance use and other co-occurring disorders.

The HTF funds on-site case management and service coordination/linkage in permanent supportive housing including singled site, scattered site or shared housing situations. The program serves low-income (households with incomes at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines levels of area median income) children, transition age youth, adults and older adults with mental illness and are currently homeless or at risk of homelessness.

See list of current MHSA HTF providers.
