World Suicide Prevention Day Event – Sept. 10, 2018

In light of World Suicide Prevention Day on September 10th and through generous funding and partnership with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, From Lot to Spot will be opening a brand-new community garden in the heart of Watts. Recent groundbreaking studies have proven that having access to green space significantly improves one’s mental health. For ten years, FLTS has worked hard to provide green space equity to underprivileged communities of color. So come join us in celebration of another success in bringing green space to local communities all around LA!
Bring comfortable clothes and closed toe shoes to help build garden boxes, plant, and paint a mural. We will also be having FREE tacos and music! See you there!
