Virtual Town Hall on Mental Health and Homelessness – Feb. 8, 2021

LA City Councilmember Mike Bonin (11th District) will host a virtual town hall with LACDMH Director Jonathan E. Sherin, M.D., Ph.D., Jonathan Goldfinger, M.D., M.P.H., CEO of Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services, and Eden Garcia-Balis, CEO of Airport Marina Counseling Services, to discuss the following topics:
- What mental health resources are available for people who may not be able to afford a therapist due to economic stresses?
- How can parents help kids get through this difficult time in terms of mental health/youth development?
- What is being done to address unhoused people’s mental health needs?
