Summary: The following demographics data is based on clients receiving services from the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (LACDMH) over the last year. DMH clients may be served by directly operated programs and/or contracted programs.

Services provided include assessments, case management, crisis intervention, medication support, peer support and other rehabilitative services. Services are provided in multiple settings including residential services, clinics, schools, hospitals, juvenile halls and camps, mental health courts, board and care houses, in the field and in people’s homes. The Department also provides counseling to victims of natural and manmade disasters, their families and emergency first responders.
