Why is connecting important to my mental health
![]() |
Even small moments of connection can boost your mood and give life a greater sense of purpose. |

Where else can I connect?
Peer Resource Centers
A Peer / Community Member can be an individual who has lived experience, a family member of an individual with lived experience, or someone who lives with a mental health condition. A Peer Resource Center is a safe place for all community members to feel understood and supported and access resources they may need.

Where can my friends and family get support?
National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)
NAMI helps by giving support, teaching people about mental health, and speaking up for those who need help. They’re here for kids, adults, and families who might be going through tough times and have groups that are peer-led and offer an opportunity to share experiences and gain support from others.
