Alternative Crisis Response Community Listening Session – Mar. 31, 2021
LACDMH and the ATI Office will be hosting a community listening session about its Alternative Crisis Response project. This project, a partnership with the CEO Alternatives to Incarceration (ATI) Initiative. This project seeks to improve the services the County provides to individuals experiencing health and human services crises, so that these services can serve as a more reliable and default alternative to law enforcement response. Several of the foundational recommendations in the ATI Work Group Final Report pertain to crisis services, and so we’re using those recommendations as a blueprint for the changes we pursue. The meeting agenda includes links to our public reports that provide more details about the ACR project.
