LACDMH’s Post-Graduate Year Two (PGY2) Psychiatric Pharmacy Residency is a one-year training program dedicated to honing Pharmacy Residents’ psychopharmacology expertise, practice of evidence-based medicine, provision of whole-person care, and readiness to join a multidisciplinary workforce that continues to improve care for Los Angeles County’s most vulnerable individuals and communities. The PGY2 Psychiatric Pharmacy Residency conducted by LACDMH (Los Angeles, CA) is accredited by ASHP.
Residency Structure
- Duration: 12 months

Rotation Blocks
- Orientation (4 – 6 weeks)
- Core Rotations (4 – 6 weeks each)
- Five (5) Ambulatory Care Psychiatry Blocks
- One (1) Inpatient Psychiatry Block
- Two (2) Elective Rotations (4 – 6 weeks each)

- Possess a PharmD Degree
