LACDMH is now accepting applications from qualified individuals to serve on its new 15-member Peer Advisory Council (PAC). APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY 5 P.M. ON APRIL 15, 2022.

The PAC is intended to serve as an advisory group to LACDMH and its director/ executive management. The PAC is intended to assist LACDMH and its director/executive management by providing peer insight and feedback for the design, development, implementation and ongoing operation of Los Angeles County public mental health programs, services and workforce initiatives that specifically impact and/or are impacted by peers in Los Angeles County. In its advisory role, the PAC is intended to promote values and practices for wellbeing defined through the insights of peers, and to assist in prioritizing focus on populations who are historically impacted by inequities in the behavioral health system, particularly those populations who are under-/un-/inappropriately-served racial, ethnic and cultural communities.
