Community Forum for BHSA Housing Interventions – Oct. 17, 2025

Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health is hosting two forums that address important questions pertaining to the Behavioral Health Services Act (BHSA) Housing Interventions

Forum 1: Housing Landscape Overview
Monday, September 29, 2025 1:00 – 4:00 PM
This session will provide participants with an overview of the housing landscape in Los Angeles County including Measure A, LACDMH and DPH-SAPC funded resources and will describe BHSA housing interventions requirements and their nexus to CalAIM Community Supports and Enhanced Care Management. Information from this session is foundational for the second session.

Forum 2: Input on BHSA Housing Funds

Housing Forum 2 – 10/17/25 – 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM

On behalf of the Department of Mental Health and Department of Public Health-Substance Abuse Prevention and Control (SAPC), we cordially invite you to the second online BHSA Housing Forum to be held this Friday, October 17, from 9:30-12:30.

Please use this link to listen to the forum: BHSA CPT Housing Forum #2 | Meeting-Join | Microsoft Teams. The online session will provide opportunities to hear from participants on key questions to inform the Housing Interventions component of the BHSA Integrated Plan. To prepare for the session, please closely review the following information:

• Agenda and Worksheets: The agenda describes how the session will be organized and the worksheets contain the questions we will be asking.
• Housing Forum 1 Responses: These documents contain the responses to the questions you asked regarding the BHSA Housing Interventions and Requirements at the first forum. (Responses to your questions about Measure A, LA Care, and Housing Services will be ready for the BHSA CPT Meeting on November 18, 2025.)

If you were unable to attend the first session but plan to attend the second session, please review the documents that were covered at the first session. Materials for the first session are available on the DMH website here:
