Faith-Based Advocacy Council LogoThe Faith Based Advocacy Council (FBAC) subcommittee was established under the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA), with the goals of reducing stigma and integrating spirituality to promote hope, mental wellness, and recovery. The FBAC, in partnership with the Department of Mental Health (LACDMH) and the Underserved Cultural Communities, (Latinx, Black/African Heritage, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian/Pacific Islander, LGBTQIA2-S, Middle Eastern/Eastern European, Access for All) strives to increase the capacity of the public mental health system and implement strategies that foster the intersection of mental health treatment and spiritual resources.

Time: 10 AM to 12 pm
