We have subsequently made some minor changes we want to share with you and get your thoughts. \nHowever\, the bulk of our meeting will serve as a listening session to shape the BHSA Community Planning Process (BHSA CPP) for 2025. \nAlthough the state has yet to issue a final planning framework for the BHSA CPP\, we have enough information and collective experience with community planning processes to start laying out the foundation for this planning process\, particularly around three interlocking areas: \n\nFirst\, we want to start building a shared understanding among CPT members on what you understand by the terms ‘behavioral health’ and ‘integrated behavioral health system.’ And we also want to understand what opportunities and challenges you see in the shift towards an integrated behavioral health system.\nSecond\, we want to share an initial proposal to expand and diversity the CPT so that it includes the state-required stakeholder groups and diversity\, while ensuring a robust representation of lived-experience perspectives and service providers for substance use prevention\, harm reduction\, and treatment.\nThird\, time permitting\, we also want to gather your feedback on ‘engagement agreements’ to encourage and support respectful\, creative\, and productive interaction among all BHSA CPT members\, including County staff.\n\nBased on your input\, we will then draft a plan for BHSA CPP and share it with you at the February MHSA CPT meeting for your feedback. The draft plan that we’ll present in February will focus more on the process itself\, including the phases\, work groups\, data\, and other more specific expectations.
