The Service Area 1 Interfaith Collaborative welcomes participation from all faith-based congregations and mental health providers that strive to recognize the connection between spirituality and mental health as an important component of recovery from mental illness.
Roundtable: The Interfaith Roundtable brings a gathering of diverse local clergy and mental health staff together once a month to build trust and to exchange information. Its intent is to create partnerships that allow neighborhood clergy to collaborate with the mental health system and become ambassadors within their faith communities. At the same time, mental health staff members will have an opportunity to develop an awareness of resources in the faith communities that can be supportive for persons seeking their services.
